“Are you seriously going to use a hairdryer on this?” asked Jack as he followed you from your bathroom. You were carrying your hairdryer, which was your favorite color, to the kitchen to thaw the frozen water.
“Duh,” you replied as you went to the sink. “Unless you come up with a better idea, I shall follow through with this plan.”
“Okay, do your thing, snowflake.”
“Why do you keep calling me that, Jack?”
“I don’t know your name.”
“… Oh,” you said, feeling bad for not telling him sooner. You told him your name.
“That’s a nice name.”
“Why, thank you,” you giggled as you plugged in the hair dryer. You set it on the hottest option and turned it on. You and Jack watched the ice for about five minutes before you exclaimed, “Forget this.” It was expected of you to do this, seeing as you were a rather impatient person and you should’ve known from the start that it wouldn’t take less than ten minutes to thaw out the ice. Then again, you had thought that you could watch a whole season of Doctor Who in less than an hour.
You turned off the hair dryer, walked over to get your frying pan, and whacked off the ice. Jack jumped at the loud noise it made. You grabbed the remains of the ice, went to the backyard, and threw it outside. You wondered why you hadn’t done this sooner.
“Well… now what?” you asked as you leaned against the kitchen counter. Jack thought about this, and after a moment or two he seemed to come up with an idea.
“Are you afraid of heights?” he inquired. You blinked and shook your head.
“Not really; why?” you answered. Jack smiled.
“Good. Come on, let’s go fly.”
“What?”
“I can fly.”
“That’s news to me.”
“Do you want to fly or what, snowflake?” asked Jack.
“Sure, I guess. It’s better than being cooped up in here.” you responded. Jack followed behind you as you walked out to your backyard and locked the door behind you with your house key. Jack grabbed your hand. You looked at Jack with a confused face.
“We’ve only known each other for twenty minutes and you’re already making a move on me,” you said with a laugh. You didn’t really mind having him hold your hand, he was very attractive after all, and you were a pretty affectionate person- meaning you enjoyed showing your love for the people you cared about and you welcomed gestures of love with open arms. You haven’t ever had a boyfriend before, and you supposed it was because you were annoying or unattractive in every way, shape, and form. Perhaps you were too flawless and out of everyone’s league. Yes, that was it. Besides, you’re a strong, independent woman who don’t need no man.
Jack smirked. “You wish,” he chuckled as he started to fly up into the air with you beside him. Your eyes widened.
“Oh my God. How is this happening?”
“Magic.”
“You’re kidding.” you replied, panic rising in your voice as you two were flying higher. You held his hand tighter.
“Don’t worry; I won’t let you fall,” comforted Jack as he squeezed your hand back. You relaxed a bit more, and you enjoyed the wind blowing through your hair. You two were now going at a rather fast speed, but you didn’t mind now. It felt a lot like riding on a rollercoaster. This whole thing reminded you of Peter Pan. A strange boy appearing at a girl’s house and taking her for a flight.
You looked down at the scene below. Your town looked rather pretty from up here with the snow on the houses and ground glistening. You saw some kids playing in the snow and smiled down at them. You remembered something and turned your head to face Jack, earning you a mouthful of your hair.
“Hey, Jack?”
“Yes?”
“If you’re real, does that mean that Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Sandman, and the Tooth Fairy are real too?”
“Yup, they’re all real?”
“That is so cool! Is the Easter Bunny all little, adorable, and have a cute, pink bow around his neck?”
That just about killed Jack. Luckily, you two had reached your destination so Jack could land and double over in laughter, leaving you to look down at him wondering what it was you had said. Perhaps you had broken him…? That wouldn’t be good; you had no idea where you were and had no knowledge of how to navigate yourself home. You also did not have any sense of direction whatsoever.
After watching Jack roll around laughing for a while, you kicked him with your foot.
“Are you okay?”
Between fits of laughter, Jack managed to say, “I can’t breathe, oh gosh.”
“What the heck did I say?”
“You said… the Easter Bunny…”
“All I asked was if he was a cute little bunny! I was being serious!”
“That’s why I’m laughing!”
“Is not a cute bunny?”
“He’s anything but that!” Jack was still laughing, much to your annoyance. You rolled your eyes and sat down, for your legs were getting a bit tired. You picked up a stick and handed it to Jack. Jack was starting to calm down by now, and he stared at the stick in curiosity.
“What’s the stick for?”
“Draw what the Easter Bunny looks like.” you commanded. Jack took the stick and drew a large, kangaroo looking figure. You pulled your legs up to your chest and rested your chin on your knees. You giggled. “What’s that supposed to be?”
“The Easter Bunny.”
You raised your eyebrows up in confusion. “Say what?”
“You told me to draw the Easter Bunny, and I did just that.”
“… I was way off.” You looked at him. “Can you draw everyone else?”
“Sure thing, snowflake.”
You shoved his shoulder and laughed. “Stop calling me that or I’ll give you your own nickname.”
“Go ahead,” he replied as he smirked and started to draw what looked to be a large figure with a tall hat. You pursed your lips as you got to thinking up nicknames that involved winter. You could say that you were going into your mind palace.
Just then, you thought up the perfect nickname.
“I got it!” you exclaimed. Jack looked up from his drawing of what you guessed was Santa Claus.
“What do you have?” he asked as he set the stick down and rested his chin in his hand.
“Your nickname!”
“What is it?”
“Frosty!”
Jack laughed. “Are you serious?”
“It was either that or Jacky.” you said with a shrug.
“I prefer Frosty.”
“Me too, Frosty. Me too.”
“Are going to call me that from now on?”
“You know it.”
“Duh,” you replied as you went to the sink. “Unless you come up with a better idea, I shall follow through with this plan.”

You all watched as the "populars" fell like dominos and Jack laughed from above them. You smiled. Tessa, Sammy, and Emily had to support each other from falling as they laughed. Seeing this as a opportunity to leave you waved Jack over as you all walked to the park. Leaving behind a moaning and groaning pile of "populars."

"Really?" Cassie asked as she and her twin slowly walked around your legs. "Are you really the winter spirit?" Justin's excited voice finished Cassie's thought. The supposed Jack Frost nodded his head smugly.
"And Guardian of Fun."
"Proof!" Max, Emily, and Tessa yelled as they pointed dramatically at the white haired teen, who just looked at them with a confused and shocke

Chapter One.
Just another day in your little town, Christmas had passed just over a week ago and as the new year rolled in, you couldn't help but think that spending New Year on your Tumblr dashboard was the best way to bring in the New Year, but, everyone was busy.
Your friends were invited to parties and your parent(s) were going out, even your eleven-year-old brother had been invited to his friend's house!
You sighed heavily, as you lay on your bed, staring up to the ceiling above, making patterns out of boredom, but thoughts trailed into your head, thoughts that could not be explained or given a straightforward an
